Indulge with every sip of this brewed Darjeeling White Tips Loose White Tea Leaf. It is probably the most intricately flavored drink produced worldwide that offers a light fresh taste with slight muscatel hints and white wine undertones. It is crafted by harvesting two leaves surrounding a new tea shoot at the top of the bushes. These leaves are hand sorted, then gently steamed and dried under a soft heat. This tea has triple times the antioxidant polyphenols compared to green and black teas with less caffeine, making this drink a sensational blend.

This tea blend is available in four sizes. To order, please select from the options above.

First time trying English Tea Store's Darjeeling White Tips White Loose Leaf Tea? Try our Sample Size of 1 oz. This flavor is also in 2 oz., 8 oz. (0.5 lb.), and 16 oz. (1 lb.) net weight of loose tea leaf contents.

The caffeine content of this tea is LOW. This tea contains natural caffeine found in the L. Camellia Sinensis family. A cup of black tea steeped in boiled water for 5 minutes will contain between 27 to 35 milligrams of caffeine. An equal-sized cup of coffee will contain between 80 to 100 milligrams of caffeine. Caffeine quickly becomes soluble in very hot water. If you wish to reduce the caffeine level in this tea, briefly rinsing the tea leaves in extremely hot water will reduce the caffeine content between 25-50% with only a minor effect on taste.

This tea's antioxidant content is HIGH. The longer you steep your tea, the more polyphenols will be extracted, based on the test results of 5 minutes steeping time. Polyphenol percentages may fluctuate with the lot, grade of tea, testing method, the temperature of the water, and freshness of the tea. More antioxidants are extracted from the L. Camellia Sinesis tea when it is brewed longer and get a greater antioxidant benefit when more tea is used.
