Included with the burner is a custom log grate, glowing embers, silica sand, a bendable connector kit with brass fittings for 1/2" line, grate clamps, a damper clamp, and installation instructions.

Building Your Gas Log Set:

Step 1: Choose a log size
Your log set should be properly sized to your fireplace using the following guidelines:

Measure your fireplace taking the front width (A), the rear width (B) and the depth (C).

The log set size you can use in your fireplace should meet the minimum dimensions.

"A" - Minimum 2" to 6" on each side of the nominal set size. In other words, if you are planning to use a 24" log set, the front opening dimension of your fireplace (A) should be at least 28".

B" - Not less than nominal set size. In other words, if you are planning to use a 24" log set, the rear dimension of your fireplace (B) should be at least 24" wide.

"C" - Minimum 12" to 14" (16" to 18" for see-through fireplaces).

Be careful when measuring a Pre-Fab fireplace, typically you will need a 36" fireplace (A dimension) for a 24" log set.

Step 2: Select a burner
The burner that you select must match the log size that you select. Select a burner series based on the series below:

PETERSON G4 BURNER:The G4 Glowing Ember Burner System produces an authentic glowing ember bed and dancing flames that cascade throughout the log set to create a real, wood burning fire experience. The G4 Glowing Ember Burner features a steel construction and is coated with a heat-resistant black paint that gracefully withstands the burner's 90,000 BTU (75,000 for 18'' - 20'') emissions.

PETERSON G45 BURNER:The G45 Triple T Burner system offers a T shaped, extra front burner which emphasis the front ember presentation and adds even more depth to the flame. With this burner, you will see more glowing embers and a small row of flames in the front, adding even more realism for your fireplace. This burner is compatible with most Real-Fyre log styles and controls.

Step 3: Choosing a valve control
You will need to choose one of the valves listed below to complete your gas log set.

• The Peterson RealFyre Safety Pilot Kit (5RP-SPK26 ) is a standing pilot system that offers manual variable flame control. It features a low profile build and includes a heat shield. The Peterson SPK-26 Safety Pilot System is compatible with most RealFyre vented burners.
• Real Fyre APK-11 Remote On/Off Pilot System (5RP-APK11 ) allows you to control your system using a remote control, wall switch, or the manual knob on the burner system. This system does not have variable flame height control. The flame will always be the same height. Remote Included.
• The Peterson RealFyre Automatic Variable Flame Pilot Kit (5RP-APK15) allows for adjustment of flame height and heat out put with a remote control. Remote included.
