The 3M™ Peltor™ PTL™ HT Ear Muff listen-only hard hat model headset offers safe attenuation with the push of a button. The practice of "lifting off" an earmuff to hear can compromise your safety and attenuation - 3M has created an earmuff to help resolve this problem by allowing outside-the-muff sounds to be heard clearly when needed. Listen-through capability with the pass-through sound limited to 87dB. The earmuffs auto-switch to full protection after 30 seconds or when button is pressed again. You will always be covered! Earcups are filled with liquid and foam-filled cushions for long wear and optimum seal. NRR is rated at 25dB. *The NRR may overestimate the hearing protection provided during typical use. 3M recommends reducing the NRR by 50% for estimating the amount of noise reduction provided.
