This LED 4 Inch Recessed Light comes with an external driver and is the cost effective, energy efficient alternative to traditional fluorescent lighting. It uses just 9 watts of energy to produce up to 50,000 hours of light. Constructed with aluminum and a frosted lens, this durable light is Triac Dimmable
this light does not need a recessed can. Simply cut a hole in your ceiling to the size of the light and fold the spring loaded ears in while pushing up into the hole. Electrical connection is inside the driver box with simple and easy push connectors. Mounting the driver box on a truss or joist is recommended but not necessary.
