70-Foot Architectural Series EC70 Satin Flagpole

It stands 70 feet beautifully above the ground from its total shaft length of 77 feet. It has a three-piece shaft with diameters of 12 inches at the bottom and 4 inches at the top. This pole can hold steadily against a maximum of 169 mph unflagged and 105 mph flagged wind speed ratings with its 0.250 aluminum wall thickness. A 15 feet x 25 feet flag is best suitable for this lengthy flagpole.

The Architectural Series EC70 Satin Flagpole comes with a standard satin finish and also presents three other finishes in clear, bronze, and black anodized coatings at an extra cost. Aluminum flagpoles require little maintenance to retain their natural shine. However, the satin-brushed finished flagpoles will generally keep clean with the rainfall in most areas, but because the exterior of the flagpole is aluminum, it will continue to oxidize throughout its lifetime. Special cleaning agents may be required to remove the discoloration caused by this process of oxidation. The anodized flagpoles do not encounter this problem. Anodization creates a barrier on the external surface of the aluminum flagpole, eliminating the oxidation process. Because the aluminum is not exposed to the elements with an anodized finish, it cannot oxidize. The anodized finishes allow you to clean your flagpole with simple soap and water. For this reason, we recommend the purchase of an anodized finish for your flagpoles.
