The Architectural Series Flagpole, available in standard satin, also offers other three beautiful finishes in clear, bronze, black anodized surfaces but at an additional price. Aluminum flagpoles need low maintenance to sustain their natural appearance. The satin-brushed finished flagpoles usually keep clean with the rainfall in most areas. But because the exterior of the flagpole is aluminum, it eventually oxidizes throughout its lifetime. Special cleaning agents may be required to remove the discoloration caused by oxidation. The anodized flagpoles do not encounter this problem since it makes a blockade on the external surface of the aluminum flagpole, eliminating the oxidation process. With the aluminum not exposed to the elements, anodized finishes cannot oxidize. The anodized finishes allow you to clean your flagpole with simple soap and water.
