20-Foot Deluxe IH Series EC20IH Flagpole

This top-of-the-line 20-Foot Deluxe IH Series EC20IH Flagpole offers an internal halyard ground set cone tapered aluminum shaft that has a winch mounted inside the flagpole shaft, operable only with a removable crank handle. While the stainless steel cable unwinds from the winch, it goes up through the inside of the flagpole shaft, over the truck sheave to the outside of the shaft, where the retaining ring gives a sliding anchor. A heavily coated neoprene counterweight, attached to the retaining ring, allows the halyard to be lowered for fastening or removing the flag. The halyard is then raised completely out of reach of vandals.

This flagpole stands 20 feet above ground from its total shaft length of 23 feet with a 5-inch bottom diameter and a 3-inch top diameter. The flagpole displays 0.188 aluminum wall thickness with a maximum unflagged wind speed rating of 312 mph and a maximum flagged wind speed of 120+ mph.

Offered in standard satin finish, this pole also comes in anodized clear, bronze, and black coatings available at an additional charge. These aluminum flagpoles require little maintenance to retain their natural shine, but the anodized flagpoles provide an even simpler way to sustain their flawless look. The satin brushed finished flagpoles usually keep clean with the rainfall in most areas. But since the exterior of the flagpole is aluminum, the satin poles still continue to oxidize throughout their lifetime. Special cleaning agents are necessary to remove the discoloration from oxidation. The anodized flagpoles, on one hand, creates a barrier on the external surface of the aluminum flagpole to get rid of oxidation. With the aluminum anodized and is not exposed to the elements, it cannot oxidize. The anodized finishes allow you to clean your flagpole with simple soap and water.
