These LED retrofit bulbs will save you upwards of 65% on your energy bill by using only 100 Watts compared to 250W metal halide bulb which produces a similar amount of light. This LED retrofit bulb is designed to replace metal halide bulbs or CFLs in high bay fixtures.
At 128 lumens per watt, this 100W LED retrofit bulb produces 13,072 lumens at 5000K color temperature. It is constructed using 416 Lumileds SMD2835 LED chips. This LED retrofit delivers brightness equivalent to a 200W CFL bulb or 250W metal halide bulb.
This lamp has segmented dimming meaning there is a switch at the bottom of the bulb that allows you to select between 3 wattage (brightness) levels. This lamp switches between 100W, 80W and 63W power levels. Do not use this bulb with a dimmer!
This bulb has a E39 mogul base and is made with aluminum body and clear PC lens to provide an optimal heat sink for a long lifespan and superior illumination. It includes an internal LED driver with 6kV of surge protection. It is suitable for installation in damp locations with an IP64 rating.
This retrofit bulb is a Type B (direct wire or ballast bypass) retrofit meaning that the existing ballast of the light fixture must be removed or bypassed for proper operation of the LED retrofit. It is recommended that a licensed electrician install this LED retrofit.
