This Keystone DirectDrive LED vertical HID LED high bay lamp is the perfect choice to upgrade your current metal halide fixture to become a LED high bay fixture like a UFO LED high bay. To install, simply cut the wires of the existing ballast and connect the 120-277V line voltage directly to the sockets. No ballast or external driver is needed. This lamp offers Power Select and Color Select technology, so you can adjust the power output and color temperature with a simple switch.

There are numerous applications for this high bay lamp including surface-mount commercial and industrial applications. This HID LED high bay light is a direct replacement for metal halide lamps used in grocery stores, warehouses, garages, retail stores, and other lighting applications. LED HID high bay lamps boast less energy consumption than traditional metal halide bulbs and fixtures for large areas including manufacturing facilities. The Keystone internal LED driver lets the installer bypass the ballast and this lamp is suitable for use in enclosed fixtures providing 180° of light output for vertical applications. The minimum compartment dimensions are 14.17" x 14.17" x 13.78". This LED high bay light is also UL Certified, RoHS Compliant, and IP64 Rated. Its operating temperature ranges from -40°F/-40°C to 122°F/50°C.

Additionally, this lamp has 6kV surge protection and a 5% uplight. Its lens is clear polycarbonate, and it is rated to last 50,000 hours. This lamp is not compatible with standard dimmers or phase dimmers making it non-dimmable. However, this lamp has dimming functions with compatible sensors installed (LEDSNSR1000051504 and LEDSNSR1000051505).

Sensors are available with this lamp and are easy to use. They just need to be inserted into the light. There are three sensors sold separately and they are noted below:

  • This motion sensor is factory preset with the following: 10% standby dim level, 5-minute hold time, daylight threshold disabled, and a 10-minute standby time.
• LEDSNSR1000051506 - Bluetooth Wireless Smart Port LED Controller - Integrated Daylight and PIR Motion Sensor - Keystone
  • This has an integrated motion and dynamic daylight sensor and can also be controlled via the SmartLoop mobile app.

What is a high bay light or high bay lighting?

High bay lighting is a type of lighting fixture which is typically used in industrial and commercial settings. LED high bay light fixtures are the most popular type of high bay lights, as they offer a long lifespan, low energy consumption and low maintenance costs.

How do you install this HID LED high bay light?

Directions for installation are included within the Specification Sheet. Instructions are also below:

1. Power to the fixture needs to be turned off.
2. Existing lamps, ballasts, capacitators, or ignitors need to be removed.
3. The Keystone HID LED lamp can then be screwed into the fixture and hand-tighten.
4. The instructions include an illustration to look at for attaching a security cable from the lamp to the fixture or structure. This is if that is desired.
5. Power can be re-connected once ready. This includes the power and color select adjustment being made using the dip switches on the lamp.

How do you dim this high bay light?

This high bay light is not dimmable. However, it has dimming functions when the below sensors are used (sensors can be purchased separately):
