Flag Case with Certificate and Shadowbox

If you are looking for a display case that offers a little more than the Medal Display Case, you might want to check out the Washington Deluxe Flag and Certificate Display Case for 3ft by 5ft Flag. This is one of our favorites at the United States Flag Store and is exclusive to this site and Online Stores. This is part of the Super Tough series and can hold a folded 3ft by 5ft flag, 8 inches by 11.5-inch document and even has enough room to display some other artifacts. This comes in a gorgeous cherry finish and would serve well as an honorable and stunning piece.

This flag display case and shadowbox is made in the U.S.A. in the state of Pennsylvania.

Air Force, Marine Corps., and Coast Guard Medallions

We also carry service medallions for the United States Air Force, Marine Corps., Coast Guard and even have the Great Seal of the United States. Any one of these would make a wonderful addition to any shadow box.

How do you display military medals in a shadow box?

For displaying military medals in your shadow box, there really is no right and wrong way to do so. You usually want to find a display case that is going to fit your needs, this would be the first step.

After that, you can decide what medals, patches, badges and other things you want to be displayed. For some, this could also include a flag, certificate and even a uniform.

You will more than likely want to lay out an arrangement that you like and makes the most sense with your pieces and the space given. They can be set in chronological order, rank, importance and even organized by departments and categories. This will give it a nice, clean look.

The medals and other items in your shadow box are representative of time spent serving the country and you want it to look great and tell your story. You can even use some paper as a guideline for your set up too, prior to ordering a case by using your items and correlating size of your potential case. This will help you get an idea of what is going to work for you and how it is going to look before even ordering.

You can always experiment with different arrangements, making sure to document with a picture until you find one you really like. Spacing is pretty important in this as well as you want to be sure there is a consistent amount of space not only in between medals but also on the top, bottom and sides.

Aside from all of this, as long as you are sharing important, prideful and valuable pieces to you, that is all that matters. Making it aesthetically pleasing will come after that.
