Relish a smooth and astringent powdered green tea blended with the fragrance of mint. The Peppermint Matcha Loose Green Tea Leaf brews a comforting blend that helps fight nausea, abdominal pain, fatigue, and stress. Drinking this tea gives you a calming experience to enjoy amidst your busy day. It is the perfect beverage to get you to pass the hustle and bustle of everyday life, taking you to a serene restful moment.

Taste the richness of this tea infusion by serving it in different ways:

Serve it through the Hot tea brewing method. Bring filtered or freshly drawn water to a rolling boil, then let it cool to roughly 180 F or 82 C. Place approximately a teaspoon of Matcha in your cup and infuse with 8 oz. or 250 ml of water. Whisk the brewed tea briskly and enjoy.

Prepare a Ceremonial Matcha. Please note that in order to brew Ceremonial Matcha, you will need a set of Japanese tea ceremony tools such as bowls, scoops, and a whisk. Start by preparing the tea bowls by warming them with boiled water. Get your Matcha whisk ready by soaking its tip in the boiled water in one of the bowls for about 10 seconds. Pour the water out and dry the bowl with a paper towel. Add 2 teaspoonfuls of Peppermint Matcha to each bowl, then pour 1/3 of a cup of your hot water into each of them. Submerge slowly any loose bits of Peppermint Matcha that may be floating on the surface of the tea. Whisk the tea more briskly in a back and forth motion until the surface of the Matcha becomes frothy. Consume the brew immediately. In Japan, it is customary to drink the entire bowl in three quick slurps.

Concoct your tea with the Hot Matcha latte fast brewing method. Use 1/2 teaspoon or 1 gram per 8 oz. or 225 ml serving. Add 1/2 teaspoon or 1 gram to the base of the cup and add 2 oz. of hot water. Mix them vigorously to make a smooth paste-like liquid. Top this blend with freshly steamed milk or a substitute, and sweeten to taste using maple syrup or honey.

Make a refreshing blend with the Iced Matcha latte brewing method. Use 1/2 teaspoon or 1 gram per 8 oz. or 225 ml serving. Add 1/2 teaspoon or 1 gram to the base of the cup, then pour 2 oz. of hot water on it. Mix heartily to make a smooth paste-like liquid. Enhance the mixture with freshly steamed milk or a substitute, and sweeten to taste. Let the infused tea cool for 30 to 60 minutes, then pour over ice for an invigorating finish.

Cool down the summer heat with the Slow brewed iced Matcha method. Place 3 level teaspoons of Peppermint Matcha into a glass pitcher. Fill the pitcher with ice and let sit. After a few hours, ice will have melted and tea brewed. Stir the mixture vigorously to ensure the Peppermint Matcha goes into suspension. Pour over ice once again and enjoy.

Spice your drink up by brewing a Matcha ginger tea with crushed ice and lime. You will need 2 level teaspoons of Peppermint Matcha, 2 tablespoons of chopped ginger, 1/2 cup ice, 1/2 cup of lime juice, and a dash of honey. Mix the ice, Peppermint Matcha, and ginger in a blender until the ice is crushed. Pour this savory blend into a chilled glass and add the lime juice with honey to enhance the flavor.

Measure the milk into the stainless steel carafe for about 15 oz. or 450 ml. Put in 1 teaspoon or 2 measures of Peppermint Matcha into the milk and stir with the long spoon. Once the Matcha and milk blend with each other, add 1 oz. or 30 ml. of flavoring syrup. Use the frothing wand from an espresso machine to roundly make foam. The caffeine content of this tea is LOW. This tea contains natural caffeine found in the L. Camellia Sinensis family. A cup of black tea steeped in boiled water for 5 minutes will contain between 27 to 29 milligrams of caffeine. An equal-sized cup of coffee will contain between 80 to 100 milligrams of caffeine. Caffeine quickly becomes soluble in very hot water. If you wish to reduce the caffeine level in this tea, briefly rinsing the tea leaves in extremely hot water will reduce the caffeine content between 25-50% with only a minor effect on taste.

This tea's antioxidant content is HIGH. When consuming matcha you actually consume all the tea leaves. Scientific testing in Japan has indicated that on account of this fact the antioxidant benefit of matcha can be up to 5-9 greater than with normal green tea consumed in a conventional manner.
