Its lightweight, easy to install, and can be purchased for a fraction of the price of a conventional cast-iron fireback. Its excellent for radiating heat back into the room and protecting the back firewall. Constructed of 14-ga., 304-alloy stainless steel, our Fireback weighs in at about one sixth the weight of a cast-iron fireback. That means it's easier to handle and less expensive to ship. Each Fireback has a gentle curve applied to its back. This pre-stresses the Fireback to minimize warping. Our Stainless Radiant Fireback comes with slotted legs that allow you to adjust it to three angles; 65, 75. and 90 degree. The support legs are 1" high, 2 3/8" wide, and 11" long. Fireback measures 27" wide x 27" high.
