Socialist Libya Flags
Green flag of Libya, associated with the regime of Gadhafi. On March 8, 1977 Libya's official name was changed to the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. On November 11, 1977 the Libya flag was changed to the all-green design. Green is the traditional color of Islam, and is associated with Gaddafi's "Green Revolution".
