Customer Service Representatives

Job Responsibility/Summary:

The role of the Customer Service Representative is to provide outstanding service, to ensure satisfaction and to create a memorable experience for each Online Stores, Inc. customer.

    Essential Functions:
  • Takes incoming calls from customers regarding questions, first level complaints, status requests and new orders
  • Follows the call strategy to ensure the customer receives outstanding customer service
  • Maintains an average of 80% or greater for scored calls
  • Interacts with other departments when necessary to obtain customer information or order status
  • Notates customer accounts quickly and accurately
  • Sets up reshipments for incorrect, damaged or defective items
  • Ensures customer complaints are properly handled and directed
  • Identifies appropriate time to communicate escalated calls to the CS Supervisors
  • Provides excellent follow up to customer inquiries
    Secondary Functions:
  • Responds to customer email inquiries as assigned
  • Operates the Internet chat feature with customers as needed

Job Specifications:

Education: Minimum – None; Preferred – High School Diploma

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years; Preferred – Experience in a high call volume environment

Knowledge: Strong understanding of Microsoft Word & Outlook. Proficient in the utilization of a multiline phone system where calls are held in queue awaiting the next available representative. Preferred – Experience with StoneEdge Order Management system

Analytical/Interpersonal Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask and high levels of organization are required. Ability to exhibit extreme caution with sensitive data. Strong typing skills are needed.

Representatives work four 10 hour shifts each week; weekends rotate and, on average a rep will work 1-2 weekend days per month.


Associate Shipping Clerks

Job Responsibility/Summary:

Pick and pack customer orders for shipment

    Essential Functions:
  • Picks and packs orders from all stores
  • Exceeds the daily minimum pick/pack requirement
  • Uses the bar-code scanning hardware and software efficiently

Job Specifications:

Education: Minimum – None; Preferred – High School Diploma

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of warehouse experience

Physical Requirements: General ability to bend, reach, stretch, push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds, climb and balance on a ladder and hold items above the head as needed to pull down to a carry position.

Analytical/Interpersonal Skills: Must be a self-starter who has the ability to work at a fast pace without supervision. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask and high levels of organization are required to ensure packages are sent quickly and correctly. A positive, team-oriented attitude is required.

Shipping Associates work a rotating schedule of four 10 hours shifts each week.

Applicants must be available for overtime with same day notice.
